USPS -how do I return to sender so I DON'T get the mail back ?
I am in charge of mail at work. We keep getting mail for people that are no longer in the building , we write RTS on the envelopes but we keep getting it back. How do I stop this from happening ?
Weird part is that I have tried to BLACK the number out with a sharpie and still it comes back.
Try "no longer at this address."

The USPS is a trip. I put in an address change and they kept delivering mail to the old address. I called to complain 4 times and they are trained to appologize profusely which only irritated me more. It didnt’ solve the problem.
If the ‘no longer…’ doesn’t work, use a permanent black marker and cover your address.
